For those of you who are interested in getting VDP up and running again this fall, what day/evening works best for you?
Tuesday would be my preference.
Personally, Wednesday do not work well at all. I have evening meetings at least twice a month. And renovation projects will be eating up my weekends for a couple of months yet. Mondays and Thursdays are okay for now, but I will probably lose Thursdays starting in late October, and may lose Mondays starting in late November.
Friday or Saturday evenings work best for me. If that’s not possible then any other evening works about the same for me.
I think I could do Tuesdays, and the occasional Fri / Sat as well.
Speaking of which, would anyone be interested in playing over the holiday weekend? Possibly Friday night? Or maybe Sunday or Monday?
I can probably play any of those days but I’d recommend sending out an e-mail to anyone/everyone who’s ever played VDP as opposed to just posting the proposal here. I’m guessing most people check their e-mails a lot more than come here so a message in ones inbox saying “VDP game Friday Night” may gather a few more participants. Plus, e-mail would be a better way to confirm participation. If the e-mail asks everyone to reply if they plan on playing, we’d know ahead of time how many people to expect. That way Friday night (or whatever night is chosen) hopefully won’t be spent sitting around “waiting for a 4th”.
