We tried another new game last night (citadel, fun card game) so only got one mission in, but it was a good one!!
John B. & AP flew Belgian Nieuport 17s vs. Kurt & John H. in Alb D3s attacking a balloon. It started with a dance and trading 300ft shots, with both John & AP scoring engine hits on Kurt before they dove on the balloon. The sausage was an easy target at 1000ft, but it took the hun 2 turns to knock’er down. Both Belgians jammed their guns, and took turns tailing Kurt & his smoking engine so he wouldnt get away… finally John H had enough of his wingmate being tailed & flew in for a 350′ HO on John B, who had to sit helpless with a jammed gun!! A bullet found its mark & hit J.Bs pilot (lucky for him a NE wound). The next turn John B. got his revenge though, and scored a LW pilot hit on Kurt, sending him to his demise…
