Hi everyone,
I needed a “fix” :woohoo: so I broke out my board and played a DP solitaire scenario. My game consisted of two of the best fighters from WWI. A Fokker DR I and a Sopwith Camel (150). There was six rounds of exchanging led back and forth. At the end of round six, the Camel had 2 jammed guns. The Fokker had the elevator cable damaged limiting climb by 100′ and dive by 200′. Also the Camel got great initiative and pummeled the Fokker for 18 hits. Two hits were engine hits and seven in the FF!!! The engine survived and so did the pilot, with no crits!!!!:huh: Somebody said an extra prayer before going to bed at night.
Both planes broke off and flew towards there respective home airfields. The Fokker had a rough landing and damaged the wing. The plane was not flyable but the pilot survived. The Camel pilot landed safely.
Just some Friday night fun after a long work week. :blink:
