ParticipantThe 5th annual MN mini-con is fast approaching which is scheduled for the weekend of Oct 12-14th, 2012. Game location will once again be at Tower Games on 48th and Nicollet in Mpls. Set these dates in your sights and reserve your pilot’s seat for a great weekend of fun and fellowship.

MemberHad a great time last night (Friday). We had up to ten players in the grinder. Hope to see double that today.
Oh poor Scott, who on occasion answers to the nickname “Shot Down Scott.”… :side:

It was great to see everyone again up at the Minneapolis Mini-Con! I managed to get 19 missions in throughout the weekend and it appears that I did not lose one of them! Sorry I could not compete with you Scott to take back the Crash King Trophy. But I will always pack a full duffel bag to ensure I cannot carry it home even if I did claim the honor, lol.
Thanks again to Carl and John for running the event, another great job as always. Thanks also for the hospitality from this most grateful out-of-towner. It was a wonderful weekend to sit down with good friends and throw dice and insults with the friendliest of intentions!
Until next we meet, be safe and have fun!

ParticipantIt was great to see everyone at the Mini Con this weekend. I admit I had high hopes going into the competition. It is no secret that the guys I was flying against are GREAT pilots. I took my lumps early on Friday night which had me skiddish all weekend. But, I continue to learn and play this wonderful game with so many great friends. Even though I took the trophy home again this year, it was worth every minute I spent. I lost alot of pilots but I gained some experience this weekend that I hope will help me over the long haul.
A special thanks to Mr. Carl Priest and Mr. John Harris for putting on such a great event!!
I would also like to thank ALL of my friends who showed up to play this weekend. You are all truly special people and I had a great time with everyone.
You would think this weekend would be enough for a while. I already can’t wait for the next online or live game we can get together and play!!:woohoo:
Take care,
Great Shot Scott, Shot down Scott, Stop, Drop and Roll Scott — What ever you want to call me.
