I am going to try my hardest to make it to this. Sounds like all sorts of fun.

Question: Are there any other events/games at this venue, or is it strictly a Dawn Patrol convention?

I believe they play quite a bit of warhammer at this location, other games I am sure as well.

    UPDATE:
The CON is less that two weeks away, and shaping up for a great turnout! So far we have 10+ local players committed to the weekend and a number of out of town players planning on showing up as well. If anyone out there is on the fence about attending, it should be a fun weekend with some great prizes, so I encourage anyone with questions to ask them now & come join us for a weekend of great games & good company!

I wish I could come, but that is our fall Harvest Fest at church and I am slated to help out a lot. Plus, the kids love the event.

Well my overnight Greyhound bus in from Chicago almost got run over by a deer…

Fortunately, as it was the deer’s first mission, double ones were not rolled and as a result I am here in Minneapolis ready to go! :woohoo:

8 A.M. and sitting in the Dunn Bros coffee shop on Nicollet Ave, just waiting for 10 or noon or whatever the start time is to get here. See you there!

Sorry for the late response. I always meant to come back to this thread and mention how great this trip was. Very good to meet all of you that were there, and I look forward to seeing you all again.

Andrew and John, you ran a great event. I will always try my best to make it back up for any future events. I told my friends about the booby prize I won (aka the “Tate/Valle Award” in our circle). They all agree that marking the “winner’s” names on it from event to event would be epic, lol.

Mike, thanks for your donation of those models. That, to me, was truly a generous gift. It may take me a while, but in time I will certainly have one of them done to give back to you as thanks. At this time I am trying to finish one of the SPAD VII’s to give as a prize for the Game Day in Illinois on 11/20. So do me a favor: Come down and win, so I can take care of both projects in one swoop, lol.

    Take care all!
