Does anyone know if Graham Cox is still involved with Dawn Patrol? I ask because I had a paper copy of a spreadsheet he apparently created back in 1990. I liked the sheet because it had all the important tables right on the sheet along with the game record. Anyway, I have never been able to find an electronic version of it, so I reverse engineered it. It wasn’t until I was almost done that I noticed his name and copyright at the bottom of the sheet.

Anyway, I was just wondering if he would mind if I shared it with the group here. In addition to re-creating it close to how he had it, I also set it up as a mail merge so that you can automatically have it fill in all the stats for whatever aircraft you are using.

It sounds like you have a great resource, and would encourage you to post it out in the ‘downloads’ area!! I know I would really like to see it…

If you are interested in more of these charts, I have collected many different types and made them as available here-

I don’t have current contact info for Graham. He’s on the East Coast now and there isn’t an active group in his area so he doesn’t play alot. I can’t imagine he’d object, but it wouldn’t hurt to ask if you can track him down.

That is a great resource, but since they’re all PDFs, you can’t tweak them, and the quality isn’t the best. That’s why I decided to reverse engineer this one. And, actually, it’s the first one on your page. The “Most charts… great for beginners” one. I didn’t realize there was a second page to it though. I think I’ll have to add that…

And, since it appears that it’s already been posted anyway, and since I at least tried to see if it would be ok, I’m going to go ahead and upload it here. I’ll have to wait until I can log on from home though. I don’t have it with me at work.

Graham Cox is still involved with DP and the FITS Society, though not as actively as before.

    His e mail is coxfamily01@earthlink.net

I doubt that he would have any objections, but contact him as a courtesy. He may have some helpful observations to offer, also.
