ParticipantWe haven’t played an e-game in ages! Let’s get one started again. We will need a moderator and four players, so 5 total to play. I would really like to play in one, but if there are no others that want to moderate I will. If we get a lot of responses I would be happy to moderate a 2nd (#12 game) game at the same time to accommodate more players… drop a line if interested!

MemberI’m in! But will be out July 24th – Aug 1st if this happens to come together fast. And then out again for GenCon, Which you should totally be going to, I hear Kevan has a room:)

MemberCount me in as well. I have enjoyed the previous two greatly! I can probably handle moderating one after this one if it only involves a small group, game #13 perhaps…

MemberI’m in. We should consider getting the word out on other sites as well, as the membership requirement of this forum limits who can read it.

InactiveJust to be clear, this forum is viewable by both FITS members and Non-FITS members. There are just a few areas that are only for FITS members on this website. People do need to register for a free account to view this forum though, if that is what you meant.

MemberYep, that is what I meant – the forums aren’t readily viewable by the casual visitor. Seeing as VDP games often attract new players or players who do not play regularly, I think it’s to our benefit if notice is posted somewhere that it will catch their attention when casually surfing for info.

InactiveGotcha Kevin, good point. I can post a front page article about upcoming e-games and whatever our new weekly or bi-monthly game night ends up being. Andy – I usually look to you for help in this particular area. Should we draw a line in the sand and post info about a game night now?

ParticipantI think the more ‘open’ & easy we make it for players to join email games & VDP sessions the better…

MemberI’d love to play in another one. I was assuming that others had started and I just got left out because I haven’t had the chance to check the boards in a while.
I think an online game would also encourage me to get some games going locally too.

ParticipantOK we have a fairly good response here, I will go ahead and get an email game setup and send out details to everyone involved, hopefully this weekend.
As far as an online game, yoodle if you want to start a new thread in the online gaming section, ask what days & times people can play, we can try to organize that as well!

MemberIs it too late to get in on the e-game? Now that I have a computer that works decently again I wouldn’t mind giving it a try.

ParticipantE-game #11 has officially concluded!
The Allies had a rough go at this one, with Rick taking a tail crit and had his engine reduced to 2 points left, forcing him to escape.
John H had both an interrupter gear hit AND a wing fabric torn, with his engine reduced to 1 point left!
Dan W made a valiant last ditch effort for the Allied side in taking on the remaining 2 Germans, but had his engine knocked out by John B. He was able to glide to safety and live.Kevan took a LW but was able to limp back to his lines, land and live to fight another day.
John B and Daniel C remained as the victorious Germans, having cleared the Allies from the skies! Good game all, hope everyone enjoyed themselves and be sure to give your pilots mission credit!
