I thought I’d throw up a post here to let everyone know that Dawn Patrol still exists in the Great White North.
PrairieCon is a small convention (~300 gamers) here in Brandon, Manitoba. I’ve been running a Dawn Patrol session at the convention for the last three years. I’ve been lazy in not submitting session reports, but I’ll try to send something in this year.
This year’s convention is June 4-6, with my Dawn Patrol session tentatively scheduled for the Sunday morning. If that session fills up during pre-registration, I’ll be adding a second slot on Saturday. Having been successful in building up a small cadre of loyal players, I’m considering offering some sort of official “2010 PrairieCon Dawn Patrol Champion” award, in addition to the usual prize at this year’s event.
For anyone interested in attending, early pass sales start online in late April and pre-registration opens May 1. The website should be updated and relaunched in the upcoming weeks, with information on this year’s convention.
