Tonight’s game featured some really good planes given the combat date of August, 1918. The Allies were led by Graham Cox, and consisted of 3 Belgian Camels. The central powers got 2 Fokker Dr I’s.
It was a relatively careful dogfight, characterized by a lot of tight right turns, side shots and terrible defensive formations. In the end the Belgians were victorious (naturally), with Jeff’s Fokker escaping with a single hit remaining in a wing. Jeff was lukier than he knew as the last burst he weathered from Graham was on M table, and Grum rolled a 1 for damage. After that Ken also left, not wanting to tangle with three Camels all by his lonesome. Myself, Carl and Graham returned home to celebrate our [strike]soccer[/strike] combat prowess.
