Ace and Experienced Pilots List Update!
Posted on behalf of Rick Lacy by Dan

Hello fellow aviators! My name is Rick Lacy, and I have volunteered to do the next edition of the Fight in the Skies Society Ace and Experienced Pilot Roster. I hope that fate has been good to you all and given you many Aces to submit. I last did this in 2008, and this time around I am going to try to keep the same submission format.

The form can be downloaded here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/93vnq278fciu711/2013%20A%26EP%20Master.xls
Open the form, fill in as completely as possible, save a copy in .xls (or .xlsx) format and email it to me at:
rlacy40 AT hotmail.com (change AT to the @ symbol – did this to avoid spam-bots picking up Rick’s email address.
My goal is to have all submissions in my hands by Oct 31th, with publication in the next subsequent Aerodrome.

Thanks for your time, I hope to see something from all of you soon. And, as Mike Carr always says…
    Keep ‘em flyin!

There’s an error in the posting for one of my pilots. The roster shows me with two ace/experienced Italian SPAD pilots. In fact I only have one. The other, Bernard de Bazelaire, is actually in the French air force.

Oh oh. An international incident. Calling a Frenchman an Italian is sure to cause problems. Heads need to roll!

As long as the heads that roll aren’t on my pilot roster!!

Well, I suppose it would really be Rick’s head that Bernard would be looking for. But those are pretty high stakes for a volunteer position!?! It could have been worse, Rick could have mistaken Bernard for an American ; )
