Good turnout tonight, with 8 players. It was Oct 1918, with four Fokker D.VIIs (no 185s — Carl P, Andy P, Ken S, Graham C) against four British Camels (Jim B, John B, Jeff Mc, Scott K). The fight started 800′ below the clouds and lasted 6 turns before it broke up, with the Brits fleeing. Jeff’s Camel took seven engine hits through the first three turns, bursting into flames, then exploding one turn later. His “4 for 4” pilot perished in the blast. Andy and Ken cut for the kill on Jeff, with Ken winning. All of the others made it home safely, with John and Scott both fairly shot up.
Graham scored the mission, at +55, as did Jim at +39.
