To all squadron leaders, I will create a public area for you in this forum upon request and assign forum moderators from your squadron (also upon request). For now, the default moderators are myself and Andy P. Please use this area to let others know how your game nights go, ideas on how to run the game nights, tips for successful management of a squadron, etc.

Not necessarily.. these new squadron forum areas are viewable to all registered members of the website. In addition, the ‘Squadrons’ area under the Community tab is essentially a way to provide squadron leaders with a place to have a private forum and ‘web page’ of their own. Though I would greatly encourage all squadron leaders to be FITS members in order to have access to the latest information available. Mike has been very clear with me that the reason we have a somewhat restricted budget and that a FITS membership only costs $12.00 is very intentional – to keep the cost reasonable. The entire goal of this website is to bring more to the Dawn Patrol community at large, but also to give useful resources to those who join FITS and help keep this game alive and thriving.
Just to be clear, the work done on this website, the vassal module, and the work being done now on the Scenario Generator has all been on a voluntary basis.
