I first found Dawn Patrol in the mid-80s. Shortly after finding D&D the realization that there were games that were not produced by Parker Bro. or Milton Bradly opened up a whole new universe of possible games to myself and my friends. We wasted little time filling a room full of games on every subject. One of the first that attracted me as a history buff was Dawn Patrol. The rules were given to our designated rules reader and he came back and taught us all the game( Incorrectly I would discover years later). We were then off and running, playing games often times in study hall in school. After graduating in 88 I didn’t play again until 2006 when I decided to play in the GenCon Worlds largest where I learned how wrongly I had played the game all those many years ago. After GenCon I was contacted by the MN players and have been playing whenever I can.
